Christmas Greek Pastry Sale

We are pleased to announce a variety of Greek Pastry plates and baskets freshly baked at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church. These specially made Christmas plates and baskets are perfect holiday gifts for friends and families which offer a taste of traditional Greek pastries.  Individual Greek pastries are also available for ordering as well. The deadline to order is by December 6 and orders will be available for pickup on Saturday, December 15 from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM. For more information, please contact Kristi at 231-798-8005.

served at Christmas and New Year’s Day and on special occasions.

Melomakarona

The melomakarono is an egg-shaped Greek dessert topped off with honey and nuts. 
Along with the Kourabiedes, it is a traditional dessert prepared 
primarily during the Christmas holiday season.

Koulourakia 

Koulourakia are a traditional Greek dessert, 
typically made around Easter to be eaten after Holy Saturday. 
They are a butter-based pastry, traditionally hand-shaped, with a hint of vanilla. 
A perfect treat with a cup of coffee!
